Welcome to Harmony in Transition

A gentle space for the parts of perimenopause that don’t always make sense, don’t always show up on symptom lists, and don’t always get taken seriously.

If you’re here, there’s a good chance you’ve been feeling off in ways that are hard to explain.

Maybe your emotions feel unfamiliar. Maybe your body feels unpredictable. Maybe your mind feels foggy, loud, or suddenly fragile. Maybe you don’t recognize yourself anymore.

Is this me… or is this my hormones?

This space exists because that question deserves real answers — and real compassion.

What You’ll Find Here

Harmony in Transition is not a place for quick fixes, toxic positivity, or pressure to “optimize” yourself.

Here, you’ll find:

  • Gentle explanations of what perimenopause can actually feel like
  • Validation for emotional, psychological, and nervous-system changes
  • Language for experiences that are hard to describe
  • Reassurance that you are not broken
  • Space to grieve what’s shifting
  • Permission to slow down
  • Support without shame

Perimenopause isn’t just a hormonal transition. It’s a life transition. And transitions can be disorienting.

Why This Space Is Different

Most information about perimenopause focuses on the physical: hot flashes, missed periods, and sleep changes. Those things matter.

But so do the invisible parts:

  • Identity confusion
  • Nervous-system fear
  • Emotional unpredictability
  • Strange body sensations
  • Loneliness
  • Grief
  • Loss of confidence
  • Feeling like you are no longer who you used to be

These experiences are real. And they deserve to be named.

Harmony in Transition exists to talk about the parts of perimenopause that often go unspoken — with softness, honesty, and respect.

You Are Not Broken

Many women in perimenopause quietly worry that they’re losing their mind, becoming a different person, failing at life, weak, too sensitive, lazy, dramatic, or falling apart.

But what’s actually happening is this:

Your hormones are shifting. Your nervous system is adapting.

Your brain chemistry is changing. Your capacity is evolving.

Your identity is reorganizing.

That doesn’t make you broken. It makes you human.

Six Core Pillars

Perimenopause affects every layer of life — physical, emotional, relational, psychological, and existential. Explore these pillars in any order. There is no right pace.

PILLAR ONE

Is It Me or My Hormones?

Identity, Mood & Emotional Shifts

When you don’t recognize yourself anymore — your emotions feel unfamiliar, your confidence fades, or your personality seems to shift. This space explores identity confusion, self-trust, grief, and the fear that this version of you is permanent.

PILLAR TWO

The Perimenopausal Nervous System

Anxiety, Panic, Brain Fog & Feeling Unsafe in Your Body

Morning dread. Internal shaking. Panic without a clear cause. Sensory overload. Depersonalization. Derealization. Feeling like your body is no longer a safe place to live. These experiences are common — but rarely explained.

PILLAR THREE

Symptoms No One Warns You About

Strange, Invisible & Scary Physical Experiences

Burning skin. Buzzing. Zaps. Floating feelings. Feeling feverish without a fever. Random pain. Heaviness. Weakness. Naming these symptoms can make them feel less frightening.

PILLAR FOUR

Relationships, Loneliness & Social Shifts

How Perimenopause Changes How You Connect

Emotional withdrawal. Isolation. Changing friendships. Relationship doubts. Needing more space. This doesn’t mean you’ve become cold or broken. It may mean your needs are changing.

PILLAR FIVE

Work, Burnout & Pressure to Keep Going

Perimenopause in a Productivity-Obsessed World

Brain fog at work. Burnout. Shame. Masking. The grief of no longer being able to “keep up” the way you used to. Your worth was never measured by your output.

PILLAR SIX

Grief, Meaning & Becoming

The Emotional and Existential Side of Midlife

Aging. Changing bodies. Childlessness. Lost energy. Lost futures. Questions about purpose. This part of the journey isn’t about fixing yourself. It’s about becoming.
